DEAD SEA
The area of the Dead Sea is about 930 square km, length — about 75 km, maximum width — 17 km, maximum depth — about 400 m. The unusually high salinity, up to 33%, makes for a harsh environment in which plants and animals cannot flourish (except for some bacteria), hence the name — Dead Sea; the water of the Dead Sea is so dense that it is impossible to drown in it. In the north, the Jordan River flows into the Dead Sea. The surface of the Dead Sea is more than 423 m below sea level (the lowest point on the Earth).
The Dead Sea is a natural pressure chamber, with harmless sunbathing and vital energy. There is hardly a place on Earth where a vacation would be as useful as at the Dead Sea. You can relax, be treated, and swim in the Dead Sea all year round. That is why New Year and winter tours to the Dead Sea are in great demand.
If you are dreaming of not only enjoyable, but also incredibly healthful vacation, a tour to the Dead Sea in Israel is exactly what you need to book to enjoy an ideal holiday!

Eilat - RED SEA is Israel's southernmost city on the shores of the Gulf of Eilat of the Red Sea. The width of the bay at its northern tip, where Eilat is located, is only 5 km. It is known for its mild climate even in winter and 365 sunny days a year.
The Gulf of Eilat is located in the heart of the desert and is walled by high mountains, which led to high evaporation and thus much higher salinity — 4.1% — than in the sea. Water temperature ranges from +22° in winter to +26° in summer. The combination of these factors ensures the formation and existence of corals. The Gulf of Eilat is the northernmost point of tropical coral reefs. The corals of the Red Sea fringe the coast with a fairly wide strip.
The Red Sea is second to none in its diverse corals, marine flora and fauna in the Northern Hemisphere. The tourist boom that has engulfed the Gulf of Eilat of The Red Sea in recent years is largely due to the unique and incredibly rich underwater world of this tropical sea and the growing popularity of diving.
The unique climate has made Eilat a popular center of winter recreation, attracting numerous tourists, both from Israel and abroad. Here you can find all kinds of water sports, in particular diving. Due to the specific natural conditions of Eilat the tourists can enjoy the rich underwater world without special equipment, using only snorkel masks and tubes. The wind blowing in Eilat all year round creates excellent conditions for windsurfing and yachting.
One of the main attractions of the water area of Eilat is coral reefs. In 1966, the Eilat coast was declared a natural reserve.

The Sea of Galilee is also called Lake Tiberias, and in modern Israel, Lake Kinneret. The coast of the lake is one of the lowest point on Earth — 213 m below sea level. This is the lowest freshwater lake on Earth. The maximum depth is 45 m, the area is on average 165 km². The length of the coastline is from 55 to 60 km (depending on the water level in the lake).
On the west coast is the city of Tiberias. The entire coast has many wild and paid beaches, and all kinds of leisure areas. The shores of Lake Tiberias are full of hot springs, rich in salts and sulfur. Many of them are already used for medicinal purposes. The sweet sea is famous for its delicious, mass-produced fish. About 2,000 tons of fish are caught annually from the sea, most of which are the famous St. Peter's Fish, also known as Tilapia.
On the northern shore of Galilee is Capernaum (Kfar Nachum), where Jesus Christ lived and preached, and now excavations are underway and a Franciscan church and monastery are rising on the Mount of the Sermon on the Mount (Blessings). At the exit of the Jordan River from the Sea of Galilee is Yardenit, a traditional place of baptism in the waters of the sacred river.
The historical region of Genossar was famous for its fruits, famous for their size and sweetness. One and a half kilometers south of Lake Kinneret, on the banks of the Jordan River, is the first Jewish kibbutz in Palestine — Degania, which means "cornflower" in Hebrew. The kibbutz was founded in 1909 by a group of Khalutian youth from Ukraine. Now it is a thriving business. At the gate of the kibbutz there is a small Syrian tank, shot down by the kibbutz during the War of Independence. Kibbutz Ein Gev is located 13 kilometers from Degania on the banks of the Kinneret. Before the Six Day War, the border with Syria passed next to it. This kibbutz is famous not only for its intensive and productive agriculture, but also for the annual music festivals held during the Easter week.
They are attended by the best Israeli and foreign musicians and artists. Concerts are held in a specially built open-air amphitheater. In addition, there are many worth-to-see archaeological sites around the Kinneret. The ancient Roman city of Beit Shean, the antiquities of Tiberias, Gamla on the Golan Heights, the places where, according to the New Testament, Jesus worked his miracles, where the graves of the forefathers and great rabbis are located.
