Israel Introduces eVisa-B2 System for Indian travelers – A New Era of Seamless Tourism !

With the start of the new 2025 year, the Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) has launched an electronic visa system specifically designed for Indian travelers, effective January 1, 2025. 

This innovative digital solution marks a significant milestone in Israel-India tourism relations, making the visa application process more efficient, accessible, and user-friendly than ever before.

This new e-Visa system is part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to enhance the travel experience and streamline entry procedures for international visitors. While currently available only to Indian citizens residing in India, there are plans to expand the system to accommodate travelers from other countries in the future.

Required Documents for Israel eVisa-B2 Visa Application:

To apply for a visa to Israel, please prepare and submit the following documents:

1. Travel Document

• A valid passport or travel document.

• A photocopy of the passport, which must be valid for at least the duration of the issued visa and beyond the visitor’s departure date from Israel.

• It is recommended to upload copies of visas previously issued in your passport, including work visas.

2. Passport Photo

• A recent passport-sized photograph taken against a white background.

3. Return Ticket

• Confirmed round-trip flight tickets to and from Israel.

4. Medical Insurance

• Health insurance covering the entire duration of the visit to Israel.

5. Proof of Accommodation in Israel

• If staying an Israeli host:

  • A signed invitation letter from the host, including their full address in Israel, phone number.

6. Proof of Financial Means (At least one of the following)

• Bank statements for the last three months.

• A financial solvency certificate from the bank.

• Any official document proving sufficient funds for the visit.

7. Invitation for a Conference (If applicable)

• A formal invitation to participate in a conference in Israel.

8. Approval from Israeli Authorities (If applicable)

• An official approval from the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel, if the request was processed in Israel.

9. Official Diplomatic Documents (For official visits)

• Official Verbal Note from the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

• Official Invitation Letter from a sports association in Israel, if applicable.
